Hot work safety course
A hot work card is required from the fire worker and the person issuing the hot work permit. Some subscribers may also require a hot work card from the hot work guard.
Work with fire is considered to be work in which sparks are generated or flame of heat is used, which causes a fire hazard.
The work in question includes gas and arc welding that causes sparks, torch and arc cutting, blade cutting, and metal grinding.
In addition, work with fire includes using a gas burner or other open flame. It also includes using a hot air blower or other equipment that gives off strong heat.
Course Content – Hot Work Safety & Permit Procedures
This course provides clear knowledge and practical skills to safely perform hot work.It follows permit-to-work systems and safety rules. Participants will learn how to plan, execute, and monitor hot work operations while minimizing risks and ensuring workplace safety.
