A hot work card is required from the fire worker and the person issuing the hot work permit. Some subscribers may also require a hot work card from the hot work guard.
Work with fire is considered to be work in which sparks are generated or flame of heat is used, which causes a fire hazard. The work in question includes gas and arc welding that causes sparks, torch and arc cutting, blade cutting, and metal grinding. Work with fire is also considered work that uses a gas burner, other open flame, hot air blower, or other work equipment that produces strong heat radiation comparable to these.
The purpose of the hot work course is to increase the student’s awareness of what things should be taken into account before starting hot work, during hot work, and after hot work.
The participant receives a hot work card from the training, which is valid for five years.
The Finnish work permit is accepted in Norway and Denmark. Similarly, the cards for the fire prevention associations of the countries in question are accepted in Finland.
The price of the course includes morning and afternoon coffees, a certificate and a hot work card.
