The training can be divided into two consecutive days, according to the opening hours of the guardhouse. The guardhouse is open from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 22:00 and from Friday to Saturday from 8:00 to 16:00.

The training is distance learning conducted online (e-learning). Distance learning is carried out using technical connectivity, whereby the trainee studies online under the supervision of a trainer, guided by a technical system. The technical connectivity must enable the identification of the trainee in a reliable manner.
The participant studies the system-guided and supervised remote learning materials independently and performs the tasks related to each subject. The participant must complete each task in order to progress in the training. The system provides feedback on the completed task.
The training platform is the online training platform of kuljetus.fi.
The training includes 7 lessons, the contents of which are:
Lesson 1: Special features of international transport, operating environment and fleet
Lesson 2: Documents and responsibilities
Lesson 3: Traffic and transport permits, customs and border crossing formalities
Lesson 4: Safely in international traffic
Lesson 5: Heavy traffic control and transport crime in international traffic
Lesson 6: Operating methods and performance areas
Lesson 7: Routing of shipments and costs
The duration of the lessons is on average 45 minutes and the total duration of the training without breaks is 5 hours 15 minutes.
However, don't rush through it; make sure to maintain your learning by taking enough breaks.
