RTV level 1

The basic training for a traffic control officer equips you with the skills to act as a traffic control officer in work performed in railway areas. During the training, you learn the safety procedures related to the planning, implementation, and return of the work area to traffic, as well as the various stages of the work.
During the training, you will also be introduced to RUMA training environment to be used as part of the roadwork supervisor's duties.
Implementation of the training
  • Mode of instruction: face-to-face instruction
  • Duration of training: 5 days
After successfully completing the training, the participant receives Level 1 qualification for a road maintenance worker.
 
Pre-requisites
The participant in the training is required to:
  • Finnish language skills
  • Valid Safety of Work Certificate (TURVA)
  • Fundamentals of the Rail System (PERA) training
    (PERA can be replaced with valid work experience)
  • Practical work experience of at least six (6) months in road maintenance or construction-related field tasks
  • Suitability for the position of road construction supervisor
    (the role of the traffic supervisor is a role that has a significant impact on traffic safety)
  • RUMA certificates for the role of the road maintenance supervisor
  • Highway Authority's extranet credentials for the road service
  • Age 18–68 years
The required credentials (RUMA and the Finnish Transport Agency's extranet) must be applied for before the start of the training.

  3. Add the course to your shopping cart and pay – 🛒 Click ”add to shopping cart”, and the participants will be added to the training. 💳 Go to the checkout to complete the purchase billing and payment information and confirm the registration.
