Safety card refresher course in Russian — webinar

The Work Safety Card has been developed to improve workplace safety in general. This refresher course is held in Russian, With the webinar, it renews the Occupational Safety Card that was previously completed for five years.

Why does the Occupational Safety Card exist?

The goal of the work safety card is:

• Enhances collaboration between subscription businesses and news businesses at a shared workplace
• Facilitates mobility in a shared workplace
• Provides basic information about occupational safety
• Maintains employees' interest and motivation in safety and occupational health matters
• Reduces the number of work-related accidents and reduces risks and strain

To obtain a card approved by the Finnish Work Safety Centre, you must complete a one-day course and pass a written exam. The card is valid for five years.

Is there any prerequisite for the refresher course?

Yes. The Occupational Safety Card previously completed and approved by the Finnish Work Safety Centre must still be valid during the refresher course. If your card has already expired, you need a full basic course instead.

How is the refresher course different from in-person instruction?

The refresher course for the Occupational Safety Card in Russian is similar in content to the version delivered in-person at training venues — only the delivery method is different. Online instruction takes 4.5 hours, or half a workday.

What do I need to participate?

You need a computer (desktop or laptop) that has:

• Working internet connection
• Camera
• Audio connection

Note: Each participant must have their own, separate computer — the same device cannot be shared between multiple participants.

How are the registration and training day going?

After registration:

1. You will receive a confirmation email to your email address regarding your registration and payment for the course — if necessary, please check your spam folder as well.
2. On the afternoon of the day before the course, you will receive the training material in PDF format via email.
3. On the same afternoon, you will also receive a webinar invitation in your email

On training day:

1. Go to the Google Meet webinar 10–15 minutes before the course starts by clicking on the link you received — the program will start automatically
2. Make sure your computer's sound and camera are on
3. Have your ID ready — the trainer asks you to show it to the camera

After the training:

1. After the theory part, you will participate in an electronic exam
2. You will receive your exam results the same day
3. After the approved exam, the new card details can be found in the Occupational Safety and Health Centre. card search– and korttitieto.fi -service

When will I receive my actual card?

The Finnish Work Safety Centre abandoned printed plastic cards at the beginning of 2025. In their place came card search service, Which is approved nationwide throughout Finland. If desired, the plastic card can be ordered yourself. from the korttitieto.fi service.
