The content is divided into three larger units, which cover both life-saving first aid and everyday accidents and illnesses:

Emergency situations

  • Fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, as well as recognizing emergencies
  • First aid for the unconscious person
  • Non-resuscitation and resuscitation for all ages — adults, children and infants — including pressure-ventilation resuscitation, chamber breathing and the use of a defibrillator
  • Foreign object in the airways of people of different ages
  • The continuum of help: the challenges of helping, safety factors, the helping chain, the special features of multi-patient situations, and psychological support after helping

Accidents

  • Overall picture of accidents, injuries, bruises and shock
  • Musculoskeletal injuries: head injuries and concussions, soft tissue injuries, fractures and severe injuries — also separately children's head, musculoskeletal and other injuries
  • Fire and eye injuries
  • Injuries caused by cold and heat: heat illnesses, hypothermia and frostbite
  • Chemical injuries and poisonings
  • Traffic accidents: safety of rescue, making an emergency call and managing the situation, as well as first aid itself
  • Electrical accidents: electric shock, arc flash, and fire and eye injuries caused by electrical work

Accidental illness

  • Shortness of breath, chest pain, and irregular heartbeats
  • Brain circulation disorders and fainting

How long is the qualification valid for?
